Leading lenses for colorblindness (red-green deficiency) from Germany
Colordrop has set a new standard in color vision perception. We have specially developed our glasses for the colorblind to give people with red-green vision deficiency the opportunity to see more of the wide spectrum of bright colors that most of us take for granted.

To achieve a strong color effect, we recommend testing our glasses on a clear and sunny day. Stronger sunlight increases the effect for red-green weakness. Of course, you can also use the glasses indoors, but make sure there is good lighting.
How our glasses for the colorblind work
Our lenses against red-green weakness are somewhat reminiscent of sunglasses. The technology is based on similar principles.
- Our special glasses filter out certain light of a specific wavelength.
Which wavelength is that?
Those diagnosed with red-green weakness usually perceive red and green as the same color. Our technology can filter out a disturbing hue, that is, a specific wavelength.
This helps the glasses to optically separate the colors and trick the brain. This trained effect of recognizing filtered light signals as colors can persist even after removing the glasses.
Tip: Use the glasses as often as possible and over a longer period of 3-4 months to achieve training effects.
Structure of our lenses against red-green weakness
As you can see, our special lenses have various coatings. We remain innovative in our workshop and continuously optimize the lenses. However, there is unfortunately no functional guarantee. The reactions of the eyes and brain to the lenses can vary greatly from person to person and depend on the diagnosis and severity of the color weakness.
With mild symptoms, there is usually no significant effect, and the same applies to the rare complete color blindness. Those suffering from red-green weakness can be happy in this case:
